Award for Planning Excellence.
The annual Planning Institute of Australia (Queensland Division) Awards for Excellence event was held at the beginning of November 2009. Humphreys Reynolds Perkins, in collaboration with Brisbane City Council, received two awards for the Brisbane City Centre Neighbourhood Plan an Award for Planning Excellence in the Urban Design: Plans and Ideas category and an award of merit in the Urban Planning Achievement category.

The Judges said:

The City Centre Neighbourhood Plan is a landmark planning instrument that will greatly influence the future planning and development of Brisbane City Centre.

HRP was very pleased to be involved in this important project, working with Brisbane City Council, and is gratified that the quality of the outcome has been acknowledged in this way by the Institute.
