Biography
Mark's key areas of expertise include preparing and managing development applications and statutory and strategic land use planning. A planning professional since 2003, he has quickly gained a reputation for excellence through his work on a number of complex CBD projects in Brisbane, regional and sub-regional shopping centres around Queensland, the high voltage transmission network in Queensland, and planning assistance for a number of hearings with the Planning and Environment Court of Queensland.
Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Built Environment (Urban and Regional Planning) and a Graduate Diploma of Urban and Regional Planning from the Queensland University of Technology earning a Distinction. He is an active member of the Planning Institute of Australia and Queensland Environmental Law Association.

Humphreys Reynolds Perkins is a Brisbane City Council accredited consultant for RiskSmart.
RiskSmart is an application assessment and approval process that allows low-risk development proposals to be fast tracked with a commitment from Brisbane City Council to decide those applications within 5 business days.
In addition to saving time, RiskSmart applications may also qualify for a discount in Council assessment fees of up to 30%.
Eligible development proposals range from certain types of subdivisions, houses and multi-unit dwellings to extensions to shopping centres, industrial uses and prescribed tidal works.
