Biography

Since joining Humphreys Reynolds Perkins in January 2007 Giles has been involved in a variety of residential and commercial projects, which include large master planned communities and numerous mixed use developments on the Gold Coast.

With almost 8 years development assessment experience within both the public and private sector, Giles has developed a strong understanding of planning related issues connected to residential, retail, commercial and industrial projects and the effective co-ordination of the development assessment process.

Giles has worked on a variety of large scale retail projects within the Gold Coast and has a particular interest and expertise in this field.

Previously, Giles was employed as town planning consultant with Grummitt Planning and Development Consultants on the Gold Coast and as a Development Control Officer at Haringey and Reigate, Banstead Borough Councils in the United Kingdom.

Giles has a Bachelor of Environmental Planning from Griffith University, in which a portion of his studies were completed at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. Giles has recently completed Post Graduate studies in Project Management at Bond University.
