Biography

Kelli has eight years experience in the planning and development industry and has gained specialist experience in the areas of master planning, coordination and preparation of development applications and project management.

During this time she has enjoyed working with the private sector, a number of different Local Government Authorities and the State Government to deliver innovative yet practical planning outcomes throughout Queensland.

Kelli has also experience within the United Kingdom, particularly in Milton Keynes where she was employed as a Regeneration Planning Officer with English Partnerships – the National Regeneration Agency (Office of Deputy Prime Minister). During her time at English Partnerships, she was responsible for the establishment of planning guidelines and assessment frameworks for “Milton Keynes Partnership” – a sub-committee of English Partnerships that was specifically formed to ensure that there was a coordinated approach to planning and delivery of growth and development in the expansion of Milton Keynes. She also gained experience in urban design, preparing design codes and development briefs as well as assessing very large and complicated residential projects.
Kelli has a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Natural Systems and Wildlife Management from Queensland University and completed her postgraduate Masters in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) from the Queensland University of Technology.
